Condolences for Mr. WAYNE ANTHONY STABILE

I called him Uncle Wayne, and he called me Uncle Frank. We were not actually related but our friendship was as close as any relationship. We first met in a summer group house at 444 Dune Road in Westhampton on Long Island. Our friendship blossomed playing volleyball on the beach and in New York City where we both lived. Wayne was a very good volleyball player but more importantly a good person and friend. Although he lived in Florida for the past 25 years or so, he always kept in touch and would send birthday wishes every year. He will be dearly missed by many friends. Frank Gasparini

Wayne was a dear friend of mine. We met over 40 years ago at the beach house on Dune Rd West Hampton. He loved the outdoors and we went on many hikes, camped and canoed. We both worked in NYC for many years. I also had the pleasure of seeing him Miami since I now live in FL. He was a good soul. I will miss him but remember how we laughed together.

Wayne was dear friend. We shared an apartment in NYC in the 1980s. We were beach volleyball buddies for years. Wayne was intelligent, thoughtful, and had a great sense of humor. Always willing to lend an ear and helpful advice to a friend. A truly good man. Rest in peace dear friend.

A close and dear friend for more than 40 years. No, more than a friend like a brother. Rest in peace, Wayne.

Wayne was my father and showed me how to approach life from a beautiful perspective. He was always humorous, supportive, and passionate about his endeavors, as well as my own. I couldn't ever ask for a better father and will fondly remember all the time we spent together. If any of his friends or family would like to reach out, please don’t hesitate to do so, he always spoke very highly of the people in his life.

Wayne and I worked together at Maplewood Partners and remained friends long after our retirements. Though we live in different cities we kept in contact over the phone often to catch up with family and current events. I will miss him and those calls dearly. He was a man I respected and enjoyed knowing.
