Post an EventRafael seemed to operate on the belief that his deeds were scrutinized by a higher power. This connection defined his actions and added a genuine sweetness to his personality. If you spent time with him, you loved him. There was no doubt about who he was or what he represented. His faith was unshakable. He’d say, “John, you Know HIM… You KNOW HIM! The joy he felt when sharing his beliefs was palpable. His laughter was contagious and his sense of honor placed him high in the ranks among the finest of men. He taught me effective ways to deal with worrisome and adversarial supplier tactics. For that wisdom and his friendship, I’ll be forever indebted. My heart is heavy knowing he is gone. Rafael was an exceptional human being. I’m honored to have known him.
To his wife Maria, their daughters, his father Rafael Sr. & family, I deeply shared the sorrow & emptiness of his premature departure to a better place, in the kingdom of God. Rafaelito as we called him growing up, was 8 years old, when we arrived from Cuba in 1970, although I was older, him & my brother were only 2 days apart, he was born Sept. 9th & my brother on the 11th, from the start we had a special connection, I remember we used to gather at Tia Filla's on most Sundays & all the cousins had lots of fun together. 1980 I opened my first W.T. Shop & recruited him to work with me doing sales, were he excel & became a tremendous salesman & learned very quickly. That's when he starter on the idea of having his own business and discover that doing commercial / residential Window tinting was the way to go & started Confianza Window Tinting, where he has had a lot of success, becoming one the biggest glass tinting companies nationwide. I know he is now in a better place without suffering and enjoying the company of love ones, who have departed our presence before, like his extraordinary and beloved mother Baleca, who instigated on him lots of values, that made him the incredible human being he was. RIP mi querido Primo Rafaelito 🙏 💔 😢
