Obituary for Miss MARIA ISABEL CASTANO

Maria Isabel Castano passed away January 4, 2023. Originally born in New York in 1956 to her parents Enery Santana Fernandez and Felipe Antonio Fernandez, the family moved to Florida when she was a young child.

She was a loving mother to one son, Rudy Castano. He was her pride and joy and she was very proud to be his Mom. Maria loved to talk and definitely had the gift of gab. She could make friends with just about anyone and certainly did just that throughout her life. She loved to go out to dinner with her friends, spend time with family and share stories about her life.

She was incredibly thoughtful. You could tell her when your birthday or anniversary was once and she would remember it forever. Never forgetting to call, text or send out a heartfelt greeting card. She absolutely loved animals and adored all of her family pets as well.

We will remember her most for how much she loved all of us and how she always let us know it.

She is survived by her son, Rudy Castano and daughter-in-law Lisa Castano. Her loving brothers, Tony Fernandez and Phil Fernandez, many cousins and friends. She will rejoin loved ones already in heaven including her husband, Michael Wilber, brother John Fernandez and parents.
