Marie Poulos Douglas of Cutler Bay passed away on January 17th, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born on August 12th, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, SC to Peter Poulos, of Kamari, Greece and Margaret Spell Poulos, of Edisto, South Carolina.
Marie is predeceased by her parents, Pete and Maggie Poulos; her siblings, Peter, Carter, Morris, Charlie, Arthur, James, George, John, Evelyn (Burgess), and Barbara Ann (Turner); her grandchild, Mary Douglas; and her great-grandchild, Connor Peoples.
She is survived by her brother Chris Poulos; her children, Deborah Lowe and Donald Douglas; her grandchildren, Keith Douglas, Misti Price, Chrystle Gorham, Robyn Thomas, Joseph Gorham, John Lowe, James Lowe, Randall Greve, Sarah Greve, Donald M. Douglas, Anthony Lynch, Sherri-Anne Lewis, Ashley Lewis, and Donna Alvernaz; as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Anyone who knew Marie knows how much she loved her family, animals, and music (especially Elvis.) She will be remembered and loved, always.
In lieu of formal services, the family will gather to remember her at her home. She will be buried at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens in South Carolina.
