Forever in Our Hearts
The world became a little dimmer on
Monday, May 4th, 2026, when our beloved Mother,
Candida Rosa Gomez de Carrazana, departed this life. Born 91 years ago in Siempreviva, Yaguajay, Las Villas, Cuba. To know her was to know warmth — a gentle, steady presence that enveloped those around her with comfort and care.
She exemplifi ed resilience not through words, but through the quiet strength with which she lived each day. Steadfast, hopeful, and full of grace, even in life’s most difficult moments.
Her greatest joy was her family. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her daughters and grandchildren, pouring into them a love that will continue to guide and strengthen them. A loyal and supportive wife, mother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend. She was the fi rst to offer anyone help in any way she could.
In accordance with her wishes, the family will hold a private and intimate gathering at the cemetery, where a moment of prayer will be shared at the gravesite before she is laid to rest beside our beloved father, her husband Adalberto.

El mundo se volvió un poco más tenue el
Lunes 4 de mayo de 2026, cuando nuestra querida madre,
Candida Rosa Gómez de Carrazana, partió de esta vida. Nacida hace 91 años en Siempreviva, Yaguajay, Las Villas, Cuba, ella encarnaba calidez: una presencia gentil y constante que envolvía con consuelo y cariño a todos los que la conocían.
Demostró resiliencia no a través de palabras, sino mediante la fuerza silenciosa con la que afrontaba cada día: firme, esperanzada y llena de gracia, incluso en los momentos más difíciles de la vida.
Su mayor alegría era su familia. Se dedicó de todo corazón a sus hijas y nietos, brindándoles un amor que continuará guiándolos y fortaleciéndolos por
generaciones. Una esposa, madre, tía, hija, hermana y amiga devota y solidaria. Siempre que alguien necesitaba ayuda, ella era la primera en ofrecerla de cualquier manera posible.
De acuerdo con sus deseos, la familia celebrará una reunión privada e íntima en el cementerio, donde se compartirá un momento de oración junto a la tumba antes de que ella sea sepultada junto a nuestro querido padre, su esposo, Adalberto.
