Obituary for Mr. Edgar M. Paz

Edgar Miguel Paz of Miami, Florida, passed away suddenly the morning of Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in his home, surrounded by family after brief battle with an aggressive form of lung cancer at the age of 76.

Edgar was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on May 11, 1946, he was one out of three children to Lubino Paz and Fanny Zambrano.  He had a passion for helping people and he was able to do that in the automotive field.

His love story and legacy began when he met the love of his life, Magna Judith Garcia, who became his wife of 56 years.  Together they raised six children, later becoming grandparents and great grandparents.   Edgar dedicated his life to his loved ones; he was the heart and soul of the family.

In his final days he was surrounded by family who showered him with love and in his final moment he left this world holding wife’s hand and his last words to her were: “You are the love of my life; don’t worry I will always be with you; everything will be fine.” 

He is survived by his wife, Magna; his brother Alberto; his son Henry; daughters Tanya, Fanny, Shirley, Erika & Dejaney; his grandchildren: Gisselle, Gabrielle, Alyza, Alexis, Daniela, Ayreanna, Hope, Ailanni and great grandchildren: Ciara, Cymbelin, Elias, Oliver and Xxavier. And his beloved cat, Mee-chee.

Edgar Miguel Paz de Miami, Florida, falleció la mañana del miércoles 11 de enero del 2023 en su casa, rodeado de familiares después de una breve batalla contra una forma agresiva de cáncer de pulmón a la edad de 76 años.

Edgar nació en Guayaquil, Ecuador el 11 de mayo de 1946, fue uno de los tres hijos de Lubino Paz y Fanny Zambrano.  Tenía una pasión por ayudar a las personas y fue capaz de hacer eso en el campo automotriz.

Su historia de amor y legado comenzó cuando conoció al amor de su vida, Magna Judith García, quien se convirtió en su esposa durante 56 años.  Juntos criaron a seis hijos, y más tarde se convirtieron en abuelos y bisabuelos.   Edgar dedicó su vida a sus seres queridos; Él era el corazón y el alma de la familia.

Le sobreviven su esposa, Magna; su hermano Alberto, su hijo Henry; sus hijas Tanya, Fanny, Shirley, Erika y Dejaney; sus nietos: Gisselle, Gabrielle, Alyza, Alexis, Daniela, Ayreanna, Hope, Ailanni y bisnietos: Ciara, Cymbelin, Elias, Oliver, Xxavier; y su amado gato, Mi-chi.

En sus últimos días estuvo rodeado de familiares que lo colmaron de amor y en su momento final dejó este mundo sosteniendo la mano de su esposa y sus últimas palabras para ella fueron: “Eres el amor de mi vida; no te preocupes, siempre estaré contigo; todo estará bien”.
